Improve Golf Swing Performance – Future Tips and Posts

Hey Golfer’s!

First off, thanks for all your support! We truly appreciate your visits and comments on our site! We are steadily growing and owe it all to our visitors, old and new!

Our mission is to provide you with the best tips and advice that improve golf swing performance.

We are looking for feedback to help us deliver even greater high quality golf swing and golf game content on our site.

Please let us know how we are doing with our golf swing posts.

Are there any additional topics you would like us to focus on to help you improve your golf swing?

We are big believers that golf, like any other sport, requires the player to practice not only skill development but specific physical conditioning which match and meet the demands of the game. Only with this combination of skill and conditioning will golfers achieve their greatest potential.

So, on our end, we are looking to set up another page on our website that focuses upon strength conditioning for golf swing performance. Here we would cover the biomechanics of the golf swing and offer warm up drills and golf specific exercises you can perform which have the greatest carryover to your game.

Tiger Woods Sorry Wants To Improve Image

Although Tiger Woods may not have performed at his highest level during the recent Masters, he was still able to finish only 5 shots back of the top spot. Recently, Tiger Woods summed up his time at the Masters as “pretty cool,” and also apologized for the harsh language that he used during the tournament after a few bad shots.

The tournament was Woods’ first since his highly scrutinized sex scandal first went public. The scandal threatens to ruin his reputation and image, but clearly has not affected his ability to play the game that made him famous.

“I have to say it felt great to return to competition at the Masters Tournament. To actually contend in a major on the back nine Sunday and tie for fourth with very little preparation, with all that has transpired in my life, was pretty cool,” Tiger went on to say on his website, TigerWoods.com

Tiger also apologized for using harsh language while he was out on the course. He said that he was sorry, but that he was caught up in the moment and he is trying to do all that he can to change without losing his competitive spirit.

Who Will Win 2010 Masters?

It’s that time of year again folks and this year’s Masters Tournament is more notable than years past because of the return of The Chosen One, Tiger Woods.

Despite a five month absence from the game and competition, he’s still a 4-1 favorite by most bookmakers. But let’s be honest….it will be difficult for him to pull it off. With the off course distractions and absence of  Tiger all together, there have been many players emerge as viable contenders for this year’s Masters.

My short list would include Ernie Els, Jim Furyk, Ian Poulter and yes, Freddie Couples. Mickelson?

Well, of course he can pull it off but I am just leary of any guy who can go from shooting a 58 in a  practice two weeks ago to struggling to make the cut at the Shell.  That kind of inconsistency this close to the Masters is dangerous.

Because of the extreme difficulty of this event, anything can happen and anyone can win….but I’d like to hear from YOU.

Who do YOU think will win this week and be crowned the new Masters Champion?

Just post your answer in the comments.

Tiger Woods New Handicap

It was inevitable that golf god Tiger Woods’ return to the Masters this week would prove to be a major television event. Will anyone ever look at him the same?

“We have all put him up on such a pedestal, not only in the golf, but we took for granted the personal side, too,” said Steve Stricker, who went 4-0 with Woods as his partner in the Presidents Cup. “We’ll have to wait and see what golf he brings when he comes back. This may fire him up even more and make him even stronger. He may have less distractions. Who knows? He could be better.”

Augusta National already has said it would allow ESPN to show Woods’ opening tee shot. CBS president Sean McManus predicted that Woods at the Masters would rank only behind President Barack Obama’s inauguration as the “biggest media spectacle.”

Equally curious will be the golf itself, especially now.

Woods last won a major at the 2008 U.S. Open, when he returned from a nine-week break to win at Torrey Pines on a left knee so torn up that he had season-ending injury a week later.

He has never missed the cut at the Masters as a pro. He has won four times, but just once over the last seven years. And he hasn’t hit a meaningful shot in five months.

“Do I think Tiger Woods can be a competitive factor at the Masters? I can’t believe you’re even asking that question,” Cink said. “We’re talking about Tiger Woods, the best player that’s ever played golf. I’ve seen the players who are usually in that conversation. I’ve never seen anybody that plays golf like Tiger Woods does. So the answer to that question is ‘Yes, I believe he can be a factor.”’

Beyond the Masters, can he resume his pursuit of Nicklaus’ 18 majors?

Tiger Woods LeAnn Rimes Dated

LeAnn Rimes – who is now dating actor Eddie Cibrian – went on to marry her soon-to-be ex-husband Dean Sheremet back in 2002, while Woods – who is returning to professional golf at this year’s Masters – went on to wed Elin Nordegren in October 2004.

Tiger Woods reportedly got to LeAnn Rimes before she married Dean Sheremet in 2002, according to US Weekly :

“They hooked up and everything,” the source tells Us. “Tiger was really into her. He likes those blondes!”
Alas, Rimes’ dad protested because he thought his teen daughter was too young to date the famed golfer, seven years her senior. “Then her dad almost had a heart attack,” the source adds. “And he made her stop seeing Tiger.”

A Closer Look At Elin Nordegren

Woods and his wife, whose marriage was strained when the golf great cheated with a legion of ladies, appeared to be on the mend until last week.

That’s when James dropped a sizzling text bomb – a batch of ridiculously raunchy messages purportedly from Woods that revealed a control freak who fantasized about having violent sex with submissive women.

So while Woods sat down with reporters Sunday for the first time since his sex scandal erupted Nov. 27, Nordegren and their kids were miles away – cruising along the Florida coast with a family friend on the golfer’s yacht “Privacy.”
